Round table on transferable skills from doctoral studies to engineering practice

At this year’s PhD Symposium at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, a roundtable was organised titled, “What does research experience mean in the engineering profession?” Participants in the roundtable were alumni doctoral students from the Faculty, now engineers with a PhD: Dr. sc. Marin Franetović, Dr. sc. Mirko Grošić, Dr. sc. Josip Pišković, Dr. sc. Karmen Kostanić Jurić, and Dr. sc. Emir Zekić. The roundtable was moderated by GREENCO project coordinator Marijana Serdar.

Additionally, this year’s doctoral candidates presented their topics in five-minute pitches, which served as training in clear scientific communication for a wider audience.
