Site visit - traditional wooden structures in Turopolje

On April 24, 2025, together with students of Green Building course and pupils of GTŠ school, we had the opportunity to visit various sites with traditional wooden structures in Turopolje. Starting with the Museum of Turopolja and a professional guided tour by Ergović, then on to the Kurija Modić-Bedeković in Donja Lomnica, the Church of St. Barbara in Velika Mlaka and Donja Kupčina Local History Museum. The visit finished with Ogranak Seljačke sloge Buševec (Buševec Branch of the Peasants' Union) where we had workshop on the process of disassembly and reassembly of a traditional wooden house.
