VINTERAKADEMI BYGGESKOLE 2025: Practical Learning for Circular Construction

From 27 to 31 October 2025, VINTERAKADEMI organised BYGGESKOLE 2025, an intensive, interdisciplinary learning programme in Copenhagen, Denmark. The programme brought together apprentices, students and recent graduates from across the construction and built-environment sectors for practical learning, collaboration and knowledge exchange.

The programme combined workshops, company visits and hands-on work in interdisciplinary groups. Participants were challenged to develop design and construction solutions using reclaimed materials, exploring how existing resources can be incorporated into new building applications. The programme also encouraged participants to consider reuse, selective demolition and disassembly, and the role of traditional craftsmanship in future construction practices.

By bringing together different professional backgrounds, BYGGESKOLE 2025 promoted practical skills, creative problem-solving and collaboration around circular construction. The activity is relevant to GREENCO’s broader focus on knowledge transfer and strengthening competencies for sustainable construction and the green transition.
